Opening the Barn Door for Maui’s Keiki

Huxley’s Horses offers privately funded scholarships for Maui youth ages 5–18 to participate in riding lessons, camps, and clinics with Jillian’s Stables in Kula.

Our goal is simple: remove financial barriers so more local keiki can experience the confidence, responsibility, and joy that come from working with horses.

What Scholarships May Support

Scholarships may help offset the cost of:

• Riding lessons
• Seasonal camps
• Special clinics

Award amounts vary based on available funding and overall participation.

Eligibility

Scholarships are open to:

• Maui residents ages 5–18
• Riders enrolled in or seeking to enroll in programs at Jillian’s Stables

No previous riding experience is required.

An introductory lesson may be required for new riders prior to placement.
